Overview
North is a private, self-hosted personal assistant operated solely for the personal use of Ignacio Pieve.
Google data accessed
North accesses the authenticated user's email address and Gmail data required to search and read messages and to create, read, or edit email drafts.
How the data is used
Google user data is used only to provide user-requested features such as email search, summaries, and draft preparation. Email sending is disabled by deployment policy.
Processing and storage
The application runs on privately managed infrastructure. OAuth credentials are stored in an encrypted local credential store. Email content may be processed by the configured AI model provider, OpenAI, when necessary to answer a request or prepare a draft.
Relevant content may remain in local OpenClaw conversation history and infrastructure backups until deleted by the operator.
Sharing
Google user data is not sold, used for advertising, or shared except with service providers required to operate the requested functionality.
Data control
Access can be revoked at any time from the Google Account permissions page. Local application data and credentials can be deleted by the operator.
Limited Use
North's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
